Tover Home Maxi Extra Matt is a great replacement for oils or waxes, that make the wood look natural but it requires regular maintenance and refreshing. This high quality Italian water based floor varnish can be used on any type of new or newly sanded wood surface. Suitable for varnishing and sealing all types of internal wood work and all types of semi solid or solid wood floors. It will require up to 3 coats of varnish to provide full protection. It can be applied over newly stained wood surfaces. Tover Home Maxi Extra Matt is suitable for varnishing domestic floors and light commercial floors.
Tover Home Maxi Extra Matt - How to use
Tover Home Maxi Extra Matt is an universal interior varnish. Before varnishing, please make sure that all the surfaces are dry and dust free. Apply 1 coat of varnish and allow around 2 hours to dry. Re-sand the whole surface with 150 grit sand paper to assure removal of all small spikes that got hard in contact with your varnish. Remove all the dust and apply 2 extra coats of varnish with two hours break between coatings. If you need to varnish over newly stained wood surfaces, please make sure that the stain is fullu dry (2 to 24 hours). 5 l of varnish will cover anything between 30 to 70 square meter but it can vary from floor to floor. Rough wood floors might require a primer.
