A professional quality alcohol based gap filler from Carver. Suitable for filling up gaps between floorboards and wood cracks. It will provide outstanding durability and speedy results. To be used for filling gaps up to 0.35 cm. Suitable for commercial and domestic gap filling projects. The product will fully dry in less than 1 hour and can be overcoated within 2 hours. Carver Stucco ET / Alcohol Based Gap Filler is not compatible with waterborne sealers.
Carver Stucco ET / Alcohol Based Gap Filler - How to use
Sand the whole floor with 80-100 grit sandpaper to generate fine quality wood dust. In a bucket, add a bit of Carver Stucco ET / Alcohol Based Gap Filler and add small amounts of wood dust until the product thickens up. When the right consistency is achieved you can use some kind of applicator to apply it to the gaps. Larger gaps might require a second coat. The gap filler will fully dry in about 1 hour. Time to re-sand the whole floor and remove any imperfections created by the gap filler. If happy with the results, seal the floor and the gap filler in one go.
Carver Stucco ET / Alcohol Based Gap Filler - Recommendations
This is an alcohol based gap filler from Carver. Follow the safety instructions and guidelines carefully. Wear protective clothing such as gloves and a face mask, do not smoke or use near a naked flame. Work in a well ventilated area. Do not use wood dust from the first heavy duty sand. You need to mix clean wood dust with the gap filler to match the colour of the floorboards.
