The highly concentrated wood floor cleaner that comes with this kit is safe to use on all wooden surfaces that were sealed with a water based or a solvent based sealer. The product is compatible with all indoor wooden surfaces. It can be used to wash floors, clean furniture, clean doors & frames, etc. The water based wood floor polish that also comes with this kit is also compatible with all water based or solvent based floor lacquers | varnishes. Its main job is to fill up small cracks, repair dull patches and waterproof the surface. Compatible with all indoor wooden surfaces that were sealed with a water based or solvent based lacquer.

Chimiver Maintenance Kit For Varnished Floors | How To Use It

You will need to prepare some kind of wood floor cleaning system. Using little water while washing wooden floors is the best way to go. You can use a normal mopping system, a flat mopping system (recommended) or a mechanical system. Either way, the product has to be diluted 1 to 50 up to 1 to 100. The dilution rate can be increased or decreased depending on the condition of the wood floor. Wood floors that are being washed daily do not require a strong cleaning solution while wood floors that are being washed very irregularly, might require a stronger cleaning product. 

1. In 10 L of warm water add 1-2 caps of wood floor cleaner

2. The mop head has to be semi wet not soaked

3. Proceed to wash the floor moving along with the fiber of the wood

4. If the dirt is not removed in full after one wash, repeat the operation

5. If the dilution was done correctly, the surface should dry streak free

Using the floor polish | The floor polish or floor refreshers main job is to repair imperfections, dull patches, scratches and restore areas with higher traffic. To apply the floor polish correctly, you should make sure that the floor is deep cleaned and the surface is dry. Using a flat mopping system and a flat microfiber head, proceed to polishing. Pour a bit of floor polish on the floor and level it up with the microfiber flat mop. Apply some pressure to the flat mop and move along with the fiber of the wood. The surface will absorb whatever amount of polish it needs to be resealed and you should remove the excess. The floor has to look wet but not soaked. Allow 30 min to 1 hour drying time and the job is done. Do not refresh your floors daily. Do not apply too much polish. And do not apply the wood floor polish over dirty surfaces.

The estimated coverage area is between 20 to 50 sq meters per 1 L depending on the surface porosity.
