The product will work great on all “sealed” wood floors and wood surfaces. The surface has to be sealed with a water based or a solvent based floor lacquer | varnish. It can be used on all vertical and horizontal surfaces. Only suitable for indoor use. Also compatible with all plastic floors, non glossy tile floors and resin based floors. The product is ready to use and no dilution is required. A quick shake of the bottle to create a uniform composition and you are ready to seal your floors. Start by cleaning the surface well with a strong degreaser or a professional wood floor cleaner. Applying the new Chimiver Velurex Re-Pair Matt | Wood Floor Polish over a dirty surface will only trap the dirt under the sealant. Assuming that the surface was vacuumed a number of times, washed nicely and is fully dry, proceed to the next steps:

1. Pour a bit of wood floor polish | wood floor restorer onto the floor surface

2. Soak the microfiber flat mop head in it and start polishing the floor surface

3. Moving along the fiber of the wood, apply 1 thin coat of wood floor polish

4. Add more wood floor polish as you move along the floor

5. Make sure to walk from the wall backing to the door direction

6. Make sure that the whole floor is touched and it looks evenly wet

7. Allow 1-2 hours to fully dry and assess the finish. 1 more coat can be done

8. The floor can be open to daily traffic after about 2 hours

9. Wash all your microfiber mop heads in warm water

Working in a well ventilated area is sure to speed up the drying process. Avoid walking on the surface while the surface is drying. The wood floor polish is water based so no special protection is required. You can pre-test the area somewhere in a corner before polishing the whole surface. You do not need to reglaze your floors every day.
