Over the decades, it has grown to be a market leader, serving European nations, the Middle East, all through to Asia. This wide reach is attributed to the quality of products in their offing.  As such, when you turn to them you can rest assured that you will get a value return for your purchase. Faber 30 comes in with the cleaning formulations, and is designed to tackle everyday dirt problems and even the heavy build-ups of grime.

Tough Cleaning Action

This alkaline-based formulation is highly effective on various kinds of soiling, from oil and grease residue on the floor, to rubber and tyre marks out on the car park. Petroleum soiling, animal fats- it will get rid of them, leaving the surface clean and fresh. It dissolves the residue, breaking it down for it to be rinsed off. It does this without affecting the structural integrity of the underlying surface. In fact, so gentle is it on the material that it can be used on slate, limestone, travertine, quartzite, porphyry, sandstone, porcelain stoneware, marble, marble-cement, marble-quartz and marble-resin agglomerates, and even reconstituted stone (eco stone). It’s suitable for application on polished and glazes surfaces, plus the synthetic floor coverings such as polyurethane resins, PVC and epoxy. Whether you want to use it for routine cleaning or the period deep cleaning to get rid of the heavy dirt build-ups, the Faber 30 will be up to the task.  You get all this without straining your wallet. This is because the product comes with a pocket-friendly price tag. It’s also concentrated, meaning each unit product gets to take you for the long haul. With the regular care of your surfaces, you get to avoid the deterioration that would have been caused by the dirt and grime, keeping them elegant for longer. This means you also make savings by avoiding costly repairs that would have needed to be done.

How To Use The Faber 30

  1. First sweep/vacuum away the dust and other loose particles on the surface.

  2. Divide the area into workable sections. This is to be based on the absorption properties of the surfaces. After all, your goal is to get rid of the dirt and grime, not have the product penetrating the surface and adhering to it- which would defeat its intended purpose.

For terracotta, cotto and other surfaces that are highly absorbent, it is recommended that you work on an area of 4-5m² at a time. For those with low rates of absorption- the likes of stoneware and ceramic tiles, or polished natural stone surfaces, you can treat larger areas with the Faber 30 at a time. Here, factors like working speed will also come into play, since you should also go at a pace that you’ll be comfortable with.

  1. Prepare the product for usage. It can be applied diluted or undiluted, depending on the level of soiling in question. These include:

  • For simply degreasing, like when you’re carrying out periodic floor cleaning, you can dilute it with a 1:9 ratio.

  • When dealing with stubborn residue where you want stronger degreasing action, or working on areas where the surface material is acid-sensitive, a 1:2 to 1:4 ratio can be used.

  • For application in the double wax stripping process, or if you’re dealing with particularly difficult wax, resin and polymers, dilute the Faber 30 to 50%. If it's on the highly absorbent surfaces like concrete or cotto, you can proceed to use it undiluted.

  1. Apply the solution to the surface. Different equipment can be used depending on your particular situation- it can be a cloth, mop, large brush, hard floor cleaner, or even a single-disc machine. Distribute it evenly on the surface, as you also continue with the scrubbing.

  2. Allow 10-15 minutes dwell time. This is to enable it to dissolve the dirt and grime. You can also aid in this by passing over the area with the brushes or single disc machine at regular intervals- depending on how stubborn the grime is.

  3. Remove the residue. Here, you simply need to add more clean water to the surface, resulting in an emulsion with the contents already on the floor, evenly distributing it using the brush or single disc machine, then removing the excess. For this bit, it’s recommended that you work with a liquid vacuum cleaner. You can also use cloths or paper towels to absorb the excess liquid, if you're working on small surfaces.

  4. Thoroughly rinse the surface with clean water.

In case the results aren't fully satisfactory, the steps can be repeated. However, first wait for the surface to completely dry before treating it again.

Get The Most Out Of The Faber 30 With These Extra Tips

  • The kind of abrasive disc or brush to be used for the application should be based on factors such as the type of surface in question, plus the treatment or dirt that is to be removed. For instance, white pads are recommended when dealing with glazed materials, plus the polished and delicate marble and limestone surfaces. The green and light blue pads, on the other hand, are recommended for the rough and unpolished surfaces- the likes of terracotta, cotto and concrete.

  • When dealing with the highly absorbent surfaces, you can pour some more Faber 30 onto the area, in order to compensate for the amount being absorbed into the material. Ideally, you should ensure that the surface has been covered by a fine layer of solution all through the treatment.
