Simply clean the area you intend to work on, ensure the adjacent surfaces are protected, then proceed to apply the treatment in abundance. Note that it should never be applied onto damp or wet surfaces. Spread it out evenly, wait for 5-10 minute as it sets, then redistribute the excess to achieve an even coverage over the surface. The tools you use depend on your preference- it can be a brush, roller or even a lambswool applicator. Give it 20-30 minutes to penetrate into the surface, or even 45-60 for the more compact materials. This dwell time will also be a factor in determining the effectiveness of the treatment, the colour intensity that is obtained, plus the overall durability- hence it's recommended that you maximise on it by waiting close to an hour.

After this, remove all reduce and excess that remain. This is achieved by brushing the surface with a dry brush, opting for the standard floor polisher set at 175 rpm and with a 1.5 HP rating, that has a lambswool pad, white or even a wool-cotton attachment. For the vertical surfaces, worktops, and small areas, the residue can be removed using cloths such as those of wool-cotton or compact-felt material, or alternatively use an orbital wheel, that has a white disc or pad. Manual wheels can also be used. Within 1-2 hours after application, the Faber Deep Enhancer 1L treatment will have dried. When it comes to the floors, they will be ready to handle foot traffic in just 4-6 hours after the treatment.

When using it as a stain-proofing treatment for the surfaces onto which a water-repellent primer had been coated, first wait for it to dry before applying the Deep Enhancer. New installations, plus those that have grout, should also be allowed to cure completely before application of the treatment.
