Faber Neugel - Daily Marble Maintainer
Faber Neugel Review
Cleaning is not just about sloshing detergents over your floor, and scrubbing away the gunk and stains that are on it. When dealing with natural stone surfaces, extra care is needed. Sure, they are elegant and can last for long- however this only happens when the appropriate maintenance measures are carried out. General cleaners not specifically formulated for use on natural stone can etch way the polish, result in discolouration, cause scratches or degrade the sealer. The material is highly sensitive to pH, so getting products that are used on other sections of the house to work on your limestone floors or marble countertops will result in more harm than good. Bleach-based products, vinegar, ammonia, all-purpose cleaners- using them in an attempt to tackle the dirt problem on your installation will end up costing you more in making repairs and replacements. Efficient cleaning is still needed. First, the grime is a threat to the structural integrity of the surface. The abrasiveness of dirt and grit accelerates the deterioration. Residue that builds up over time makes the surface dull, dragging down the rest of the decor with it. You also want to minimise wear from everyday use. From the gunk that is out on the living room floor, tracked into the building as people walk into your office space, soap scum and hard water despots in the bathroom at home or hotels, to cooking oil residue in the kitchen or hairspray and other cosmetic products that winded up on the floor, grime caused by your furry friend coming in from the yard, to the smudges from food spills- they all need to be got rid of. You want a product that is tough on the dirt, yet gentle on the surface being worked on. That’s right up the alley of the Faber Neugel.
Benefits Of The Faber Neugel
Thorough cleaning action
The Faber Neugel delivers a quality clean each time. This makes it a valuable addition to the building’s maintenance arsenal, and it's popularly used for the routine cleaning program. Homes, hospitals, office spaces, restaurants, yoga studios, gyms, health clubs, entertainment facilities- it can be used across the scope. In addition to getting rid of the dirt and grime, it accents the surface, bringing out its colouration. This is as a result of its special formulation of natural ingredients, which nourish the material being worked on. You also won’t have to worry about a surface film being left behind, and thus the area gets to remain clean for longer.
A pH-neutral product, the Faber Neugel can be used on a wide range of natural stone and absorbent surfaces without issues like corrosion or toxic fumes cropping up. From marble and its agglomerates like marble-cement and marble resin, porphyry, limestone, quartzite, travertine, granite, terracotta, tuff, and cementine, all through to reconstituted stone, you can trust the product to deliver on its mandate without posing any risk to the structural integrity or durability of the material. The product can also be employed on waxed and treated floors without risking the efficacy of the protective treatment that had been applied. What’s more, Faber Neugel itself actually treats the material, as regular usage will make the surface more dirt-resistant.
Over time, the build-up of soling also sets up a musty interior. As you remove the grime, you also want to spruce up the interior air space. With this cleaner, you get to see and smell the difference in the newly cleaned surfaces. This is because the Faber Neugel comes with a pleasant fragrance, that accentuates the interior ambiance after the cleaning.
This enables you to economically manage the surface care program within your establishment. A little of the Faber Neugel can be used on a wide surface area, with each litre of product capable of cleaning 900-1100 m2. This enables you to dramatically cut down on costs, with the affordable price of the product itself adding onto your savings. By protecting the surfaces, issues that would have popped up down the road due to wear and degradation are also avoided, reducing the strain on your building’s maintenance budget.
For the dilution, mix 2-3 capsules of the product in a bucket of clean water (20-30g with every 5L of water). That is for marble, granite and other surfaces where the material has a medium level of absorption. When dealing with terracotta, cotto and similar material where the absorption is high or medium-high, use 4-5 capsules of the Faber Neugel in a bucket of water (30-40g per 5L).
Application is a breeze
With the Faber Neugel, there are no complicated guidelines to follow, and you don’t have to be a professional to use it. The equipment that one employs for the task also varies, from everyday cloths and mops, to hard floor cleaners and single disc machines. After the dilution, simply distribute the solution onto the surface, with some scrubbing for the sections with stubborn dirt. The contents can then be removed from the surface using the preferred equipment. When you stick to the dilution ratios recommended in the previous point, you won’t even need to rinse the surface. It will be ready to use once it is dry, and you can allow foot traffic back onto the area.
