Most people don`t own such equipment so the recommended coverage area is somewhere around 20 to 30 sq meters per 1L. When staining softwood like pine, you are likely to only achieve 20 sq meter per 1L but when staining hardwood like oak, you are likely to achieve over 30 sq meter. With the proper equipment in place, you can stain 50+ sq meter of wood floor with 1L of wood stain.
