Faber Solvent Stripper 1L | Why Use It

Removing old solvent based sealers, impregnators and protectors is nearly impossible with the classic floor strippers. Most heavy duty floor strippers will only work on water based sealers & floor polishes. But the new Faber Solvent Stripper 1L is a different type of floor stripper that will dissolve all Faber solvent sealers and solvent sealers from other brands as well. Besides its amazing stripping qualities, the new Faber Solvent Stripper 1L is also an amazing floor cleaner and stain remover. Used in conjunction with Faber Alkaline Cleaner, it will be able to strip, deep clean and remove most types of old stains from natural and artificial stone floors, walls and worktops. 

Faber Solvent Stripper 1L | Where To Use It

If your floor or wall tile was sealed with a solvent or a water based sealer or protector, you can use the new Faber Solvent Stripper 1L to remove it. The product emulsifies old floor polishes and protectors within a few seconds. It can be used on walls, floors, roofs & worktops. Hassle free solvent based floor stripper. Many of our professional and residential customers use the new Faber Solvent Stripper 1L for tile deep cleaning projects. Unlike other types of floor strippers, the new Faber Solvent Stripper 1L is pleasantly perfumed and fume free. It does not damage the original surface and it leaves no residue. Highly effective on old terracotta tiles where years of wax have glazed the surface of the tile. It can be used outdoors and indoors as well.

Faber Solvent Stripper 1L | How To Use It

For really heavy duty floor stripping operations you should apply the product undiluted. Apply it to the affected area with a microfiber cloth, allow 10-15 minutes of direct contact, scrub well, rinse off the waste. Pretty much all types of sealers will just exfoliate and dissolve in direct contact with the new Faber Solvent Stripper 1L . If you are stripping tiles that are only superficially sealed, you can dilute the product 1 to 10. If you are planning to deep clean, strip the floor & remove old stains, you can mix up the new Faber Solvent Stripper 1L with Faber Alkaline Cleaner, allow 10-15 minutes for pre-soaking and then proceed to scrubbing. The pre-soaking period has to be respected. Moving too fast won't help you at all. There is a chemical reaction that takes time to happen. Do not allow the floor to dry and make sure to wash the surface a number of times with a good floor cleaner to neutralize the surface. Residue of stripper left on the floor surface could affect the new coat of sealer.

A truly heavy duty floor stripper that has to be treated with care. Just because it is nicely perfumed does not mean that the product is soft. Wear gloves, protect your eyes and skin. Do not mix up the new Faber Solvent Stripper 1L with other floor strippers unless recommended by Faber
