Faber Alkaline Cleaner | Why Use It

While the classic bathroom and tile cleaners can provide some great results, in some cases there is a need for a bit more aggressivity. Some old stains or deep impregnated fat or grease stains might not break down so easily. For those challenging jobs you should use the new Faber Alkaline Cleaner. This product was designed to provide results where other alkaline bathroom cleaners have failed. It will remove dirt safely without damaging the surface. The product is highly concentrated and very well priced. If you are on the market for a new and more efficient alkaline tile cleaner, check out the new Faber Alkaline Cleaner. Suitable for residential and commercial cleaning.

Faber Alkaline Cleaner | Where To Use

Not all artificial and natural floor or wall tiles are compatible with alkaline cleaners. The new Faber Alkaline Cleaner can be used on all non sensitive floor and wall surfaces. It can be used to deep clean washrooms, swimming pool areas, bathrooms, floors, patios and wall tiles. It can be used indoors and outdoors. The product reacts with the residue fast and it will exfoliate it from the surface. If your tiles were sealed with some type of protector that you need off the surface, you can mix up the new Faber Alkaline Cleaner with the Faber Solvent Stripper for a double stripping operation. By doing so, you will remove old sealant and any type of residue from the surface. This product is also efficient against surface oxidation and salt effervescents.

Faber Alkaline Cleaner | How To Use

Like any other alkaline product, it needs to be handled with care. The recommended dilution rate is 1 to 20 but it is up to the user to decide the best dilution rate. If the surface is in bad shape, the dilution rate can be dropped to 1 to 5 to create a much more aggressive and alkaline cleaner. If the dirt is light to average, then the recommended dilution of 1 to 20 is ideal. The product can be sprayed or mopped. It depends upon whether you are dealing with walls or floors. Either way, pre-spray is highly recommended. When dealing with badly affected areas, direct contact between the product and the surface for up to 5 minutes is highly recommended. The floors can then be buffed with a low speed floor buffer and a blue or green pad while the walls can be scrubbed with a black or a green scrubbing pad. Do not use steel, copper or aluminum scourers. Repeat the operation if necessary.

Faber Alkaline Cleaner | Safety

You are dealing with a highly alkaline tile cleaner so you need to protect your hands and eyes. Faber products are nicely deodorized so it can mislead the user to believe that they are softer than they actually are. Wear good quality gloves, protect your eyes and make sure that you wear water resistant shoes. Work in well ventilated areas (keep the door and the windows open to create natural ventilation). Do not mix the product with any other products other than what Faber recommends.
