Appling a coloured oil is not a very complicate job and minimum tools are required. For small areas all you need is a cloth. For bigger floor areas you might have to use a floor buffer and white pad. Deep clean the floor with a semi wet cloth to remove all the dust particles and body fats. You can only wax fully dry surfaces so you better make sure that the surface is 100% dry. Soak the cloth in oil and move the cloth fast up and down along the wood fiber. The wood will absorb whatever it needs and all the excess oil needs to be removed fast. Allow 2 to 24 hours to fully dry. If the floor gets a lot of traffic, you can finish the floor with a hardwax oil. We recommend Junckers Professional Hardwax Oil.
Where To Use:
Use this floor oil only on new or newly sanded wood surfaces. This product is not suitable for overcoating with any type of varnish. Waxing a floor takes time so be prepared to wait until the floor drys to apply more coats or other finishes. The final colour might not look like the colour in the picture. The final colour will depend on the number of coats and the the type of wood treated.
