DOs And DON'Ts When Using The Bona Intense Primer

· DO allow the wood to acclimatise to its end-use environment before applying the Bona Intense Primer. This is especially for new installations. The moisture content in the wood is affected by the temperature and humidity conditions in its environment, and you want to ensure that it has reached equilibrium with your establishment. This will prevent future problems like cupping.

· DO apply the Bona Intense Primer along the grain of the wood. 

· DO allow coats to dry before applying additional layers. In addition, lightly sand to reduce the grain raise in preparation for the subsequent coat.

· DON'T apply the primer in temperatures under 13C. The optimal temperature and humidity ranges are 18-25C, and 40-60% respectively. In general, plan the application for when temperatures are high, and humidity is low.
