Faber A2 Mix Marble Polishing Powder | Where To Use

The new Faber A2 Mix Marble Polishing Powder can be used on all marble floors, all travertine floors, all limestone floors and also on all terrazzo floors. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The product can also be used for polishing worktops due to its superior resistance to acidic liquids, it can be used to polish window sills, frames, stairs, statues & any other surfaces where a marble surface requires polishing. The finished surface looks glossy and elegant. It can be used for polishing high traffic commercial floors and all kinds of residential natural stone floors. Sold in buckets of 5 Kg. It will polish about 150 sq meters of marble floor per bucket. Two polishing operations can be done to create a steak free high gloss. Fantastic results will be obtained after one polishing, but the second polishing will make it even more spectacular.

Faber A2 Mix Marble Polishing Powder | How To Use It

The natural stone surface has to be cleaned, sealant free and all visible scratches and imperfections removed before polishing. The polishing powder will cover some of the scratches but the deep ones will still be visible under the polished surface. Finish the floor with 1800 grit diamond polishing pad before applying the polishing powder. Some marble polishing companies use the powder after grit 800 diamond pad but that is a much more specialized way of applying it and it should only be done by the experts. 

Step 1: scoop out 2-3 scoops of powder and apply it in the floor

Step 2 : pour some water on the powder and prepare for polishing

Step 3 : using a low speed floor buffer and a white floor pad start buffing the floor spending the same amount of time on all tiles. Try to go 4-7 go`s all over the area

Step 4 : extract all the waste from the floor with a wet vac

Step 5 : wash the polished area. Do not worry about removing the sheen. The chemical reaction that has created the sheen has crystalized the top of your marble floor and it cannot be washed away. Remove all residue to prevent generating dust when you buff the floor later on

Step 6 : buff the floor for a few minutes on dry with a high speed floor buffer and a white pad

Step 7 : if you plan to also seal the surface (stain proof) wash the floor one more time with a white pad and Faber Soap. Allow to dry and the job is completed.
