Chimiver Ecostar 2K HD Resin Microcement Sealer I How To Use It
Surface preparation is essential when applying any type of sealer on any type of surface. The new Chimiver Ecostar 2K HD Resin Microcement Sealer also requires specific surface preparation before the sealer is applied. The new Chimiver Ecostar 2K HD Resin Microcement Sealer can be used as the main sealer on unsealed surfaces or it can be used as a top coat sealer over pre-existing epoxy sealers. Before commencing the sealing project, the user has to follow the following steps:

Make sure that all the new microcement surfaces are dust free, debris free and fully dry.

Make sure that all pre-existing coatings are deep cleaned with heavy duty sealers that degrease the surface and remove any kind of surface imperfections.

Make sure that the hardener and the sealer are mixed together before the application.
The products estimated drying time is between 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the surface. Recoating can be done after about 4 hours. A professional quality sealer that can be applied in a two coats system.
