Chimiver Adesiver RE 400 Plus | Where To Use It
The new Chimiver Adesiver RE 400 Plus is compatible with pretty much any type of subfloor surface that has medium to low absorbency, is clean, as flat as possible and dry. It can be used to install vinyl floors, lino floors, carpet tiles, PVC floors, marmoleum floors and generally all kinds of plastic and laminate flooring. The product is compatible with concrete subfloors (polished or unpolished), screed, plywood, pre-existing wooden floors, pre-existing tile floors and other materials. Chimiver Adesiver RE 400 Plus | How To Use It
Prepare the surface to make sure that the surface is as flat as possible, as clean as possible and dry. Surfaces that are very uneven or full of holes, should be grinded and leveled up with a quality screed. Use a notched trowel to spread the glue all over the floor. The product will cover 30 to 40 sq meters per bucket but it can vary dramatically based on the condition of the subfloor and the type of floor that is being installed.

Vacuum the surface well and make sure that the subfloor is debris free and dry.

Mix up the new Chimiver Adesiver RE 400 Plus until a uniform composition is achieved.

Apply an even coat of the new Chimiver Adesiver RE 400 Plus with a notched trowel.

Wait about 5 minutes after the adhesive was spread and then install the floor over it.

If happy with the way the floor looks, apply some pressure with a suitable roller to properly attach the floor to the ground.

Do not walk on the floor for at least 10 hours after the initial installation.

Clean all tools and equipment before the adhesive manages to dry.
