The most essential step is to dilute the product before use. While the recommended dilution rate is 15 ML per 1L of cleaning solution, the dilution can be increased up to 30 ML per 1 L of cleaning solution when dealing with very dirty or badly stained surfaces. For even more cleaning power, please dilute the new Njord Kraken | High Power VLM Pre-Spray in warm water.

Vacuum the area well to remove all kinds of residue, dust and loose debris.

Pre-spray the whole area with an even coat of cleaning solution and do nothing for 5-10 min. The product needs a bit of direct contact with the affected area to break it apart and prepare the surface for the extraction.

Scrub the surface nicely with a carpet cleaning bonnet when dealing with large carpeted areas or some upholstery brush when dealing with sofas or upholstery.

Wash the area one more time with your standard hot water extraction system.
