Where To Use
While the new Saicos Ecoline Multitop System is a great water based floor lacquer, after being mixed with the epic Saicos Ecoline MultiTop Hardener 2K , it becomes an incredible floor lacquer. The 2 pack floor lacquer should be used to seal all kinds of hardwood and semi solid floors with intense traffic. The 2 pack floor lacquer should also be used to seal hardwood floors used by pets, children, hardwood floors exposed to chemical leaks, hardwood floors that are getting washed a lot and generally surfaces that have intense usage.
How To Use
Using the new Saicos Ecoline MultiTop Hardener 2K is very easy and straightforward. You just need to mix the lacquer with the hardener and apply it to the surface. A single pack water based floor lacquer will transform into a 2 pack floor lacquer after the initial mixing. The recommended dilution rate is 1 to 10 but does not need to be 100% exact.
- Use a quality varnishing bucket that is spotless.
- Add whatever amount of water based floor lacquer that you are likely to use within 2 hours.
- While stirring the lacquer, start adding the hardener. Do not just add a big blob of harder in the middle of the bucket. While stirring it, you are making sure that the hardener is diluted and mixes up nicely.
- Allow it to bond for about 5-10 minutes and then apply it to the surface.
- All primers or stains should be fully dry before the sealer is applied.
Our Recommendations
The new Saicos Ecoline MultiTop Hardener 2K is only compatible with the Saicos floor lacquers. Do not mix up more than 1 bottle of hardener per 1 bottle of floor lacquer. Do not mix up more than you need to use within 2 hours. The hardener can be added to a composition that was already mixed up with other additives like anti-slip, UV protectors or colours. Any mixture that is not used within 2 hours will harden up inside the container. All tools used to seal the floor should be washed with clean water. Store the product in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
