Faber Concrete Finish Plus | Where To Use It

The new Faber Concrete Finish Plus can be used on pretty much any type of dry and clean concrete or concrete based surfaces. The product is suitable for all kinds of indoor and outdoor applications and it can be applied with a standard painting roller or a large brush. Within a few hours after the initial application, the concrete surface will become waterproofed and stain proofed. The new Faber Concrete Finish Plus will slightly enhance the colour of the concrete and it will also harden up the concrete structure. Faber Concrete Finish Plus | How To Use

The most important factor when sealing concrete surfaces is the humidity. For the new Faber Concrete Finish Plus to be able to fully penetrate the concrete surface has to be fully dry and clean of dirt and residue. The product is ready to use and it does not require any dilution. Here is the step by step application process:

1. Vacuum the concrete surface a number of times until the surface looks spotless.

2. Assess the concrete surface and if you notice wet spots, either dry it or wait until it dries.

3. Use a small brush to apply the new Faber Concrete Finish Plus around narrow areas.

4. Use a painting roller or a varnishing roller (depending on the roughness of the area) to apply the new Faber Concrete Finish Plus over larger surfaces.

5. Roll the product in until all excess material is either absorbed by the surface or the whole surface looks evenly wet.

6. Allow 2-4 hours drying time and then proceed to apply the second coat. If you have applied the first coat from North to South, then go from East to West with the second coat. Basically the opposite way.

7. Allow the floor to fully dry before the area is used. The drying times can vary dramatically based on the application tool, system or experience.

Do not use the new Faber Concrete Finish Plus over dirty or wet areas. Do not apply the new Faber Concrete Finish Plus over highly polished concrete surfaces or any other materials besides the concrete. Do not dilute the product and do not mix the product with any other concrete sealer.
