Highly compatible with concrete floors, screed, plywood, pre-existing but roughed tiled floors and even wood panels on block walls. In some cases a primer can be used to reduce the porosity of the surface. The product was designed for indoor use and it should only be applied on surfaces that are properly prepared.

Tover Tovcol MS Wood Adhesive | How To Use It

For a great quality wood adhesive to last and dry out well, the surface should be prepared as the manufacturer recommends. The surface should be as smooth as possible, dust free, medium porosity, debris free and dry. Uneven or very rough surfaces should be leveled up with screed. The product is ready to use but it requires mixing up before use to make sure that the composition is an even and uniform mixture. To apply the new Tover Tovcol MS Wood Adhesive to any surface, the user needs to use a notched trowel for best results.

1. Apply the product to the floor making sure to work in small areas of up to 2 sq meters.

2. Spread the wood adhesive with the help of the notched trowel until it looks evenly flat. 

3. Install the floor over the adhesive making sure that the wood glue touches at least 60-70% of the wood.

4. Do not walk on the surface for at least 8-12 hours after the installation and do not refinish the wood for 72 hours.

5. Any visible glue spots that have managed to reach the finished wood should be wiped down quickly to avoid having to deal with it at a later stage.

Tover Tovcol MS Wood Adhesive | Recommendation

Assess the condition of the floor before using the new Tover Tovcol MS Wood Adhesive. Make sure that the surface is as flat as possible and spotless. Do not mix up the new Tover Tovcol MS Wood Adhesive with any hardeners or other wood adhesives. Do not walk on the floor for at least 10 hours after the installation. If the surface is very rough or very uneven, sort it out before the installation. Store the product in a dry and cool place away from the direct sunlight. Clean all your tools and equipment after the project is completed.
