Chimiver Velurex Cleaner Star 1L Wood Floor Cleaner | How To Use It
If you have selected the most effective cleaning system, then you can start by diluting the product. A highly concentrated wood floor cleaner has to be diluted before use. The recommended dilution rate for daily cleaning is 1 to 100 (1 part product and 100 parts water approx). If you are washing very dirty wood floors, then you can use a more concentrated solution. Lower the dilution rate and less cleaning power.
A flat mopping system like the new Alfred Spray Mop is the most cost effective and easiest way of cleaning wooden floors. A standard mop is also fine but you need to make sure that you use as little water as possible.
While using a flat mop or a standard mop you should always move along with the fiber of the wood. If one wash is not enough to remove the dirt in full, have one more go. Some poor quality wood floors can take a number of washes before noticeable results are achieved.
