Amtico Floor Stripper | Why Use It
All water based floor polishes from all brands and all manufacturers are limited in their lift expectancy. Some water based floor sealers can last for 12 months while others can last for 36 months, but all of them will eventually wear off and will require stripping. There is no better product to remove Amtico Dressing than the Amtico Floor Stripper. This product is highly effective, easy to use and it emulsifies up to 3 coats of water based floor polish or dressing in one go. It is safe to use on all Amtico floors and it reduces the amount of time needed to strip sealers dramatically.
Amtico Floor Stripper | Where To Use It
While the new Amtico Floor Stripper was designed as the main floor stripper for all Amtico floors sealed with the Amtico Dressing or similar water based floor polishes from pretty much any other brands, the new Amtico Floor Stripper can be successfully used to remove water based floor polishes, sealers and protectors from all types of floors. The product is highly concentrated and capable of tackling even the tougher water based floor polishes. Some floor cleaning companies use the new Amtico Floor Stripper to deep clean artificial stone floors and natural stone floors in poor condition. The strength of the mixture can be decided by the level of dilution:

Normal Use | Dilute the product 1 part Amtico Floor Stripper and 10 parts water

Intense Use | Dilute the product 1 part Amtico Floor Stripper and 5 parts water

Light Use | Dilute the product 1 part Amtico Floor Stripper and 20 parts water (for cleaning dirty unsealed tiles)
Amtico Floor Stripper | How To Use
Assess the condition of the floor and then decide on the concentration of the mixture. We would highly recommend a patch test. In a bucket of 5 L of clean water add 1L of the new Amtico Floor Stripper. Apply the mixture to the floor with a clean mop head trying to avoid touching painted surfaces, carpeted floors or any other surface that does not require stripping. Apply the mixture generously to make sure that the floor looks evenly wet but not soaked. Allow direct contact between the new Amtico Floor Stripper and the tiles for at least 5-10 minutes before scrubbing the floor. While the new Amtico Floor Stripper will soften up and emulsify the floor sealer, it still requires agitating with a black catering scourer or some type of brush to fully break the sealer. With a low dilution rate, the user can strip up to 3 coats of floor polish. Floors that have 3+ coats of floor polish or the Amtico Dressing will require more than one stripping operation. The waste has to be extracted with a wet vac or some extraction system and then the floor has to be washed a few times with a cleaning solution to remove all traces of floor stripper. Then seal the floor with the amazing Amtico Dressing.
Amtico Floor Stripper | Recommendations
The new Amtico Floor Stripper is highly active and it burns. Wear hand protection at al times while using this product. The mop head used to apply the floor stripper cannot be used again on any other type of floor. The dilution rate can be used at the lowest recommended rate if the floor seems covered in floor polish or at the highest rate if there is little polish on the floor. Do not use the Amtico Floor Stripper undiluted. Store this product in a safe place away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
