Faber Safe Floor | Anti Slip Treatment | Why Use It
Highly polished floor tiles or very compact artificial tiles are likely to become very slippery, especially when wet. This could be a safety hazard especially when those tiles are fitted in commercial units or areas with very high traffic. Accidental falls can end up closing down good companies. But if you treat your floor tiles with the new Faber Safe Floor | Anti Slip Treatment, you will basically reduce the tile slippery levels to the safest level possible. This product is easy to use and works within a few minutes. The product is compatible with all compact and highly polished artificial tiles.
Faber Safe Floor | Anti Slip Treatment | Where To Use It
The new Faber Safe Floor | Anti Slip Treatment was designed to make very slippery tiles safe. The product can be used on all washroom floors, kitchen floors, reception rooms, school floors, office floors, changing rooms, shower rooms, patios, etc. Basically it can be used wherever there are slippery tiles. Suitable for indoor and outdoor treatments. Not compatible with natural stone floors. For natural stone floors we have a different product.
Faber Safe Floor | Anti Slip Treatment | How To Use
Considering the numbers of floor tiles that are compatible with the new Faber Safe Floor | Anti Slip Treatment, pre-testing is highly recommended. Faber recommends a small test somewhere in a corner. The product is ready to use and it requires no dilution. The product has to be applied directly to clean and dry surfaces. Surfaces that are in constant direct contact with the sun are not suitable for treating.
Apply the product with a special applicator, a flat mop or a cloth (depending on the size of the area). Apply the product generously and allow the surface to absorb whatever it needs. Remove the excess from the surface with a dry cloth. The look of the tile will not change at all. But you will notice that the surface is alot less slippery even when it is wet.
You will need to apply the product to the tile, allow it to fill up the tiny erosions within the tiles surface, remove the excess from the surface and the job is done. Do not allow the product to glaze the surface. The tiny holes that are invisible to the naked eye have to be filled with this rubbery product to create the grip. The whole tile does not require sealing. Some tiles will dry faster than others. The wide variety of tiles compatible with this product makes it nearly impossible to create one unique application system that applies to all tiles. Some tiles have bigger pores than others. It is also essential to make sure that there are no old sealers or waxes on the tile.
Faber Safe Floor | Anti Slip Treatment | Safety
Any surface that does not require sealing has to be fully protected. You protective gloves and do not mix the new Faber Safe Floor | Anti Slip Treatment with any other similar products.
