Faber Acid Cleaner | Why Use It
The residue left by the builders after the installation of wall tiles or floor walls can be pretty challenging to remove. Most heavy duty alkaline bathroom cleaners might make a dint in the dirt but not enough to say that satisfactory results were achieved. The new Faber Acid Cleaner was created exactly for this particular job.
To remove all types of grout residue, tile adhesive or impregnated building residue. Residue is the main word here. It will not dissolve concrete from the tiles but it will definitely get rid of all types of construction and post-installation residue. A number of treatments should be done until the dirt is removed in full.
Faber Acid Cleaner | Where To Use
The new Faber Acid Cleaner can be used on most natural stone tiles, all artificial tiles, concrete tiles, terrazzo floors & walls, etc. Not compatible with acid sensitive surfaces or very sensitive floors. Pre-testing is highly recommended before using on a larger scale. It can be used indoors and outdoors.
The product’s main job is to remove all kinds of residue left after the installation of floor or wall tiles, but it can also be used for getting rid of salt effervescents on wet areas, deep impregnated dirt, some organic residue like mould and body fats, etc. The new Faber Acid Cleaner is very easy to use and it provides results in no time. Some very badly affected areas might require pre-soaking.
Faber Acid Cleaner | How To Use
The recommended dilution rate is informative only. It all depends on the condition of the tile. If the job is very tough, then a lesser dilution will make the product stronger and much more aggressive. If the tiles are in good shape but here and there you can see a bit of dust or some light grout residue, then the maximum dilution should be applied. Either way, the product has to be diluted before use. Mix it with warm water to increase its cleaning power.
It can be used with a spray bottle or with a mopping solution. Apply the product to the affected area and allow direct contact for a few minutes. Do not use steel, copper or aluminum scourers on tiles. Scrub the surface with a green, black or blue catering scourer or floor pad. You want to remove the dirt but to leave the tile without scratches. Scrub, rinse, dry. Assess the results and repeat the process if necessary. There is no magic solution for this issue. You will need to take your time and repeat the operation until the surface looks spotless.
