Most polished floors are likely to require regular cleaning and maintenance to stay glossy and streak free. While there are a number of sealants, powders, protectors, enhancers and other types of maintenance products, most of them are very expensive or very challenging to apply without having to close down areas and interrupt busy business or high traffic areas. There is no need to block areas, there is no need to ventilate areas, there is no need to use expensive equipment and step by step grinding pads. A fine quality polishing liquid that fully restores and maintains highly polished floors to an outstanding gloss level.
Where To Use It
The incredible Faber Alpha Gloss is a multi surface and multi material compatible polishing cream from Faber. The new Faber Alpha Gloss can be used as the main product for polishing and maintaining:
Marble I Granite I Travertine I Limestone I Terrazzo I Agglomerates
The product can be used individually on all the floors listed above or on a mixture of floors where one or all of the above floors are present. It can be successfully used to polish indoor and outdoor floors as well. The product will create a superb gloss without glazing the surface. To maintain the newly achieved gloss, the surface should be repolished regularly and buffed with a clean white pad on a daily basis if possible.
How To Use It
Depending on the condition of the floor, the surface should be cleaned with a neutral PH floor cleaner like Faber Neugel or Faber Algafloor if the floor is in a great condition, or it should be deep cleaned with Faber 30 or Faber Deterfug if the surface is in a poor condition. The product was designed to maintain and protect the sheen so the surfaces that are being treated with the new Faber Alpha Gloss, have to be already polished but dulled over time. Do not use it on a very matt surfaces or very absorbent surfaces.
Cleaning
To make sure that the new Faber Alpha Gloss does its magic, the surface should be degreased, washed and buffed nicely before the polishing process. Make sure that the surface is fully dry and spotless before proceeding to the next step. A quick buff with a 3500 grit diamond polishing pad could really increase the sheen levels even more.
Application
Apply a tiny amount of the Faber Alpha Gloss directly onto the floor surface and start buffing it. Work in small areas of around 1-2 sq meters to make sure that the product does not dry too fast. If there is underfloor heating make sure that is turned off. Buff the surface until the surface has absorbed the product in full and the sheen has appeared

Polishing
Now that the surface has dried and there is no more liquid visible, you should buff the surface with a white floor pad and a high speed floor burnisher. The surface will really come back to life and the gloss levels will increase dramatically.
Maintenance
The newly polished surface should be washed regularly with one of Faber`s neutral floor cleaners. The surface should be burnished on a daily basis with a white or a tan floor pad.
Our Recommendation
Do not use the new Faber Alpha Gloss on very matt surfaces or on artificial tiles. Do not over or under use the product. Do not apply the new Faber Alpha Gloss on a wet or dirty surface. The coverage area is estimated only and it can cover much more or much less than the recommended coverage. Do not dilute the product and do not mix it up with any other polishing liquids or creams. Do not attempt to use the new Faber Alpha Gloss without having access to a good quality floor buffer.
Safety
Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions and safety guidelines before use. Use suitable protective gloves. If you are working in areas with little or no ventilation make sure to wear a face mask. All the pads used during the polishing process should be disposed of responsibly. Store the product away from the direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
