Faber Colour Enhancer Matt Finish | Why Use It
While some surfaces have to be sealed with 100% natural looking sealers or impregnators, others can really benefit from the colour enhancing qualities provided by the new Faber Colour Enhancer Matt Finish. A proper heavy duty deep penetrating solvent based sealer that will leave a deeper colour on all kinds of natural and artificial stone surfaces without creating an artificial coating. The product provides outstanding protection against water and all kinds of oily stains. The ideal product for sealing patios and footpaths. It cannot be scratched and it is not affected by UV rays or bad weather. Its colour enhancing results are known to last for many years even in areas with constant water flow.
Faber Colour Enhancer Matt Finish | Where To Use It
A professional quality product compatible with all medium to highly absorbent surfaces like patios, footpaths, concrete floors & walls, terracotta, terrazzo, cotto, some limestone, granite, indian stones, etc. The product can be used for vertical and horizontal surfaces. It will equalize colours when applied to a surface made from a mixture of materials. It can be used to seal bathroom floors, kitchen floors, outdoor surfaces and all areas that are likely to be affected by humidity and stains. Because the product does not glaze, it can’t be scratched. Also, by not glazing the surface it allows the surface to ventilate naturally. Suitable for residential and commercial use.
Faber Colour Enhancer Matt Finish | How To Use It
Before sealing and impregnating any surface, you should first prepare well. First of all the surface has to be sealant free or if it was sealed before, to make sure that the old sealer was also an impregnator not a glazer. Surfaces that are glazed with some kind of sealer are not compatible with the new Faber Color Enhancer Matt Finish. This product has to be able to penetrate the surface in full to dry. Assuming that the surface is sealant free, dry, dust free & grease free, proceed to sealing it. You can use a brush, a flat mop, a roller or whatever applicator you prefer. Apply enough product to create that wet look finish but do not over soak it. Allow about 10 min for the product to fully penetrate and then go one more time with a dry cloth and remove any excess product left on the surface. One coat is more than enough. The surface should be fully dry within 1-3 hours weather depending. Do not wash the surface for at least 24 hours after the treatment.
Faber Colour Enhancer Matt Finish | Safety
Wear protective equipment at all times and avoid working in areas with little or no ventilation. You are dealing with a solvent based product that is highly flammable and has a medium odour. Clean all your tools with white spirit after you are done with it. Store safety in a cool, dry place.
