Nordicare Teak Oil 250 ML | Why Use It
This product was designed to protect some of the “fanciest” types of wood like teak, mahogany and rosewood. The reason most people own such items manufactured from any of these types of wood is because they love the look, the colour and the durability. By using the new Nordicare Teak Oil 250 ML on these eucalyptus surfaces, you will enhance the colour, you will protect the fiber and you will stain proof the surface without creating any artificial glazing or high gloss. Nordicare Teak Oil 250 ML | Where To Use It
It can be used to seal and maintain pretty much any type of unsealed or oiled wood surface but it will look the best on darker types of wood like mahogany, rosewood and teak. The perfect sealer and maintainer for worktops, internal doors and chairs, doors and frames, handles, toys and all other types of wood surfaces. Suitable for indoor use only. The product is manufactured from a blend of naturally extracted oils and added colour. It is compatible with all vertical and all horizontal surfaces.
Nordicare Teak Oil 250 ML | How To Use It
Preparing the surface should be the first and the most important step. While the product will waterproof and stain proof the surface, it will not alter the original look of the wood. So whatever imperfections or visible stains are present before the treatment, will be even more visible after the surface was sealed.

New Sealer | Make sure that the wood was finished with 120 grit sandpaper and is 100% dry and dust free. Using the most preferred type of applicator, apply a thin but even coat of teak oil all over the surface. Take a two hour break and then using a clean and dry microfiber cloth, extract all the excess oil moving up and down with the fiber of the wood. The surface will be fully cured after about 24 hours. More coats can be applied within a 24 hours gap.

Pre-Sealed Surfaces | If the surface that you are planning to recoat was sealed before, you will need to make sure that there is no major imperfection, the surface was deep cleaned with a degreaser to remove all kinds of oily stains that could reduce absorption and cause a patchy finish. If the surface looks in good shape, dry and residue free, proceed to refresh it. Using a dry microfiber cloth, a special brush or an oiling roller, apply a thin coat of teak oil. The surface has to look wet but not soaked. Allow about 20 minutes to penetrate the wood and remove all excess oil from the surface. Using a clean and dry cloth, rub the fiber of the wood gently. Allow 24 hours to fully dry and the surface can be used as usual.
Oiling or maintaining an oiled surface with the new Nordicare Teak Oil 250 ML does not require a lot of skill or sophisticated tools. A bit of common sense and 2-3 cloths is all you need to achieve professional results. (always follow manufacturers application guidelines for best results).
Nordicare Teak Oil 250 ML | Recommendations
The product can only be applied to new, newly sanded or previously oiled | waxed surfaces. Not compatible with water based or solvent based lacquers or sealers. All cloths used to oil the surface have to be soaked in clean water before being disposed of. If accidentally swallowed please call a doctor | emergency fast. Do not mix up the product with any other floor oils or refreshers. Keep away from children and pets.
