Tover Natural Floor Oil 2.5 L | Where to use
The new Tover Natural Floor Oil 2.5 L can be used on most types of unsealed wooden surfaces. As long as the wood has no sealer on it or if it was freshly sanded, you can treat it with the new Tover Natural Floor Oil 2.5 L. The product can be used to seal hardwood floors, semi solid wood floors, wood furniture, wood doors, frames, chairs, skirtings, etc. It provides enhanced protection against liquids and chemicals. One of the most innovative and durable two pack floor oils out there. This product is manufactured from a blend of natural oils with added enhancers for increased durability.
Tover Natural Floor Oil 2.5 L | How to use
If you are planning to use the new Tover Natural Floor Oil 2.5 L on a new wood surface, make sure that the surface is clean, dry & finished with 100 grit sandpaper. If you are planning to use the new Tover Natural Floor Oil 2.5 L on an old wood surface, sand the whole area with 40 grit sandpaper, then 60 grit sandpaper, then 80 grit sandpaper & finish it with 100 grit sandpaper. Open the oil container and mix it well until the product looks all white. Use a small brush to apply the oil in all narrow places and all hard to reach areas. Use a varnishing roller to apply on larger areas. Allow up to 4 hours to dry, then re sand the whole area, vacuum the dust and apply one more coat of Tover Natural Floor Oil 2.5 L. The surface should be ready for traffic within 2-4 hours.
The product can be purchased with or without the hardener. By mixing the floor oil with the hardener you will make the product twice as durable. The look of the floor oil will not be affected at all if the hardener is added to the product.
Tover Natural Floor Oil 2.5 L | Maintenance
Unlike classic floor oils, the new Tover Natural Floor Oil 2.5 L does not require as much care and maintenance. Regular cleaning with Tover Deteroil is highly recommended and it can be recoated with Tover Lux Matt once per year or twice per year, depending on the traffic level. Use a flat mopping system for better results. Try to use as little water as possible while cleaning wooden floors.
