This is a safe pre-spray that really softens up the dirt without damaging the fibres in the process. It can be safely used on even the most sensitive types of carpets, sofas, upholsteries, antique and classic rugs, mattresses, chairs and others. This product is highly recommended to the professional carpet cleaning and sofa cleaning contractors that are dealing with very PH sensitive fibres that could easily discolour, shrink or get seriously damaged during the process of cleaning.
Where To Use It
This top of the range prespray can be used to pre-treat all types of water washable carpets, sofas, upholstery, rugs, mattresses, chairs, curtains, baby prams, etc. The product was designed to soften up dirt on very sensitive fibres but it can also be used to prespray all types of carpeted surfaces and fibres. Its pleasant fragrance will also deodorise the surface and neutralise a wide range of unpleasant odours. The product can be used in a mixture with other pre-sprays from Prochem when tackling surfaces that have many different types of stains.
Best Way To Use It
This product is highly concentrated and needs to be diluted before use. The recommended dilution rate is 1 to 30 but it can be decided on the spot based on the job requirements. Surfaces that are in an average condition should be treated with a mixture that uses the recommended dilution while surfaces that are in a poor condition should be treated with a composition that uses a less diluted solution.
Vacuum the surface well to remove as much residue as possible before applying the new Prochem Prespray Gold 5L to the surface.
Dilute the product in warm water if possible and apply a fine mist of the product all over the surface.
Allow 5-10 minutes of direct contact and then scrub the surface with a carpet bonnet, some type of brush or an upholstery brush.
Proceed to washing your carpet or the fiber with the hot water extraction system.

Your final results might vary and it will depend upon the type of stains that are being treated, the way you are mixing the product and the type of scrubbing and agitating equipment used. This product is compatible with most fibres but the manufacturer recommends pre-testing for compatibility. Do not use this product to spray and extract because it will not work. It requires direct contact with the fibre for at least 5 minutes. Store the product in a cool, dry and safe place out of direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
