Evans Enhance Floor Polish | Why use
Not all water based floor polishes are the same and not all of them are suitable for high traffic commercial floors. But the new Evans Enhance Floor Polish was manufactured for heavy duty use. The new formula Evans Enhance Floor Polish covers more floor surface than similar products from other brands, it looks great and it responds very well to burnishing with a high speed floor buffer and a white or red floor pad. The amazing Evans Enhance Floor Polish can also be used as an overcoat over pre-existing finishes assuming that the surface is clean and dry. Superior results guaranteed with the new Evans Enhance Floor Polish.
Evans Enhance Floor Polish | Where to use
The superior Evans Enhance Floor Polish can be used for polishing and maintaining pretty much all medium absorbent floor surfaces. It can be used to seal and protect ceramic tiles (matt), porcelain tiles (matt), natural stone floors (not the high gloss ones), lino floors, marmoleum floors, vinyl floors, Amtico floors, karndean floors, some laminate floors, cork floors, etc. For better results you should prime the floor with Evans Sealant B before polishing and then apply 2 coats of Evans Enhance Floor Polish.
This high traffic water based floor polish is suitable for commercial and residential use. If applied right, it should provide a few years of protection even on very high traffic floors. The ideal floor polish for school floors, restaurant floors, car dealers, art galleries, all types of residential use, retail, health care, etc. A wet look water based floor polish that will enrich your floors.
Evans Enhance Floor Polish | How to use
The new Evans Enhance Floor Polish can be used for polishing and protecting all types of indoor floors. It can be used for polishing new floors or pre-existing floors. When polishing new floors, you should make sure that the new floor is deep cleaned and degreased before applying the polish. Seal the surface with one thick coat of Evans Sealant B to create a perfect base for further coatings. After the sealant is fully dry you should prepare for polishing.
Apply one thin coat of floor polish with a flat mop. Be sure to cover the whole surface evenly. The floor has to look wet but not overwet. Allow 2-4 hours drying times between coats. Apply 1 coat of primer & 2 coats of floor polish or 3 coats of floor polish. The floor primer will help create smoother finishes and it will reduce the polish absorption.
If you are planning to polish an old floor, you should make sure that the surface is spotless and sealant free. To remove the old sealers please use Evans Easy Strip floor stripper. Dilute the product 1 to 500, apply the solution to the floor, allow 3-5 min of direct contact, scrub the floor well, extract the waste. Wash the floor a number of times and then apply the floor polish as described above.
Refreshing old sealers is also possible but the floor has to be in very good condition. You can use the old coat of floor polish as a primer. Apply 2 extra coats of floor polish with a flat mop to enhance the sheen levels and increase the protection. Any dirt residue left on the floor will be very visible when the floor dries. So make sure that the floor is spotless before applying the floor polish.
Evans Enhance Floor Polish | Recommendation
Use the new Evans Enhance Floor Polish undiluted. From time to time, deep clean your floors and burnish with a red floor pad. By buffing the floor regularly you will reduce the floor absorbency and you will enhance the appearance. Never polish a dirty floor. Make sure that the floor is clean before proceeding to burnishing.
