Removing glue residue and imperfections from concrete surfaces is not easy without proper tools and equipment. While most rough diamond pads can achieve some results on concrete floors, nothing provides the same amazing results as the Diafil Rubberflex Metal Diamond Pad | 5 Strip | 17 Inch. This pad will provide results fast and hassle free. The pad is available in 3 distinct grits:
Pad 0 – 30 grit | the roughest diamond pad
Pad 1 – 60 grit | the second roughest diamond pad
Pad 2 – 120 grit | the 3rd step in your concrete polishing process

The new Diafil Rubberflex Metal Diamond Pad | 5 Strip | 17 Inch is usually used by the professional concrete and marble polishing market. The pads main job is to remove all kinds of glue residue, rough patches, heavy duty solvent sealers, lippage, deep scratches etc from all kinds of concrete floors, natural stone floors, terrazzo floors and other types of floors. The new Diafil Rubberflex Metal Diamond Pad | 5 Strip | 17 Inch is suitable for indoor and outdoor projects. Due to its aggressivity, this pad is suitable for use by professionals only. While it can help the user work faster and achieve spectacular results for less, it can also cause permanent damage to floor surfaces. Average power floor buffers would not be able to handle it. A heavy duty floor buffer or floor scrubber has to be used in conjunction with the new Diafil Rubberflex Metal Diamond Pad | 5 Strip | 17 Inch. Minimum power required is 1.5 HP.
Diafil Rubberflex Metal Diamond Pad | 5 Strip | 17 Inch | How to use
Sweep the surface to expose all imperfections. Depending on the condition of the surface and the type of residue that you are planning to remove, you can select pad 0, 1 or 2. Pad 0 should only be used to remove heavy duty tile residue and serious lippage on the concrete tiles. Pad 1 should be used to remove very deep scratches that otherwise would take a lot longer with classic diamond pads. Pad 2 should be used for removing all kinds of heavy duty solvent finishes that are unresponsive to floor strippers and sealant removers. But if you start with pad 0, you will need to finish with pad 1 and 2 to leave the surface scratch free. If you start with pad 1, you should finish the surface with pad 2 to remove scratches made by pad 1. Pad 2 will leave the surface clean but rough. After finishing with pad 2, you will need to assess the surface and see if finer diamond pads are required to create a smoother finish.
***Pad 0,1 & 2 are residue removers & lippage removers. The surface will require further treatments to achieve a smoother finish. These pads will help you to remove residue that otherwise can only be removed with sanding paper or sand blasting***
