There are a number of wood oils that will seal and protect most types of real wood surfaces but not all of them are safe to use in food preparation areas. Some oils will affect the quality and the taste of the wood and that can be bad for your health and your establishments reputation. Use the new Nordicare Mineral Oil to seal all your wooden chopping boards and all your wood worktops. Nordicare Mineral Oil | Where To Use It
If your worktop seems to absorb a lot of water and get stained a lot, you should probably consider using a proper quality mineral oil like the amazing Nordicare Mineral Oil. This product can be used to seal pretty much any type of real wood worktop, any type of real wood chopping board, any type of real wood furniture that was sealed with natural oil and so on. It can be safely used on garden furniture as long as the wood is sealed with a natural wax or oil or it was not sealed at all prior. The product is manufactured from a premium quality blend of natural oils that are fully food certified.
Nordicare Mineral Oil | How To Use It
The new Nordicare Mineral Oil can be used as the main sealer or it can be used to refresh and rejuvenate already sealed worktops. The product dries very fast and it leaves no residue or streaks as it dries. Before using the new Nordicare Mineral Oil, there is a bit of surface preparation required:

If the wood is brand new and never sealed before, the surface has to be sanded and finished with 150 grit sandpaper before sealing it with the new Nordicare Mineral Oil.

If the wood is not new, the surface has to be deep cleaned or sanded if there are visible deep watermarks or imperfections. Then the new Nordicare Mineral Oil can be applied.

The surface has to be dry, smooth and stain free.

Apply a few drops of the new Nordicare Mineral Oil in the middle of the area and spread it evenly with a good microfiber cloth. Allow it to sink in for at least 15 minutes. Remove all visible excess oil as you move along. The worktop or chopping board has to look wet but not soaked.

About 15 minutes later, remove all excess oil and give the surface a good buff with a clean cloth. Do not use the chopping board for another hour.

Repeat the operation once per month to make sure that you keep the wood fully protected and nourished.
Nordicare Mineral Oil | Recommendations
Do not use the new Nordicare Mineral Oil on varnished surfaces or painted surfaces. Do not use the new Nordicare Mineral Oil on wet and dirty surfaces. Do not mix up the new Nordicare Mineral Oil with any other products to avoid unwanted reactions. Refresh all intensely used wood surfaces as often as you can to maintain it in top notch condition.
