Cleanfast Floor Polish 1L | How to use
You can use Cleanfast Floor Polish 1L to overcoat the pre-existing finishes if the surface is deep cleaned before. Remove the old floor polish and all types of floor sealers, deep clean the surface to neutralise floor stripper residue & after the floor is fully dry, apply the first coat of floor polish with a flat mop. Wait about 1-2 hours for the polish to dry and apply the second coat. You can apply a 3rd coat but it is usually not necessary.
Cleanfast Floor Polish 1L is an Irish manufactured high traffic water based floor polish suitable for sealing all types of commercial and domestic floors. It is not suitable for sealing oiled wood floors or porcelain floors. Our floor polish will finish your floor in an elegant semi gloss finish. Cleanfast Floor Polish 1L | Where and How to Use
Cleanfast Floor Polish 1L is an excellent choice for protecting floors in shops, offices, schools, restaurants, hotels, healthcare facilities, public buildings and residential properties. Its versatile formulation allows professional cleaners and homeowners to use one floor polish across numerous compatible surfaces, including sealed wood, laminate, vinyl, linoleum, Marmoleum, Amtico, rubber, tiles and suitable natural stone floors.
Correct preparation is essential for achieving maximum durability. Existing polish and incompatible floor sealers should be removed where necessary. The floor should then be thoroughly deep cleaned. If floor stripper has been used, make sure all stripper residue is properly neutralised and removed. Allow the floor to become completely dry before applying the polish.
Apply the first coat evenly using a clean flat mop or suitable polish applicator. Allow approximately 1 to 2 hours for drying before applying the second coat. Two coats are normally sufficient, although a third coat can be applied if additional protection is required.
Once dry, the polish creates a smooth semi gloss protective coating that enhances the appearance of the floor while protecting the underlying surface against everyday wear. Its thick composition also helps level small surface imperfections and produces a clean, professional and uniform finish.

Cleanfast Floor Polish can be safely used on vinyl, lino, Marmoleum, Amtico, laminate, varnished wood, tiles, rubber flooring and many types of natural stone. It is not recommended for oiled wooden floors or porcelain floors. Its thick composition provides excellent levelling properties, helping to reduce the appearance of small imperfections while producing a smoother and more uniform finish.
One litre will cover approximately 30 square metres of flooring, depending on the condition and absorbency of the surface. For optimum protection and appearance, apply two thin and even coats to a completely clean and dry floor.
Because the formulation is water based, there are no strong odours or unpleasant fumes during normal application. No specialist training is required. Once dry, Cleanfast Floor Polish provides an elegant, smooth and durable finish suitable for floors exposed to regular commercial or domestic foot traffic.
