Where To Use It Safely
This is a heavy duty slightly acidic product that should not be used on very sensitive fibres or acid sensitive carpets. It can be safely used on all types of commercial carpets, lightly coloured fibres and surfaces that are already badly stained and cannot really be affected any worse. This product was designed to break down residue and mineral deposits from carpeted surfaces that were flooded, or it can be used to remove brown staining and yellow stains from some types of carpets and lightly coloured fibers. Pre-testing is highly recommended before applying it to any surface. The dilution rate should be respected to avoid unpleasant reactions and waste of the product. Suitable for indoor use.
How To Use It
The recommended dilution rate is about 1 to 10. One part of the product and 10 parts of warm water. The dilution rate can be decreased to 1 to 5 when dealing with badly affected surfaces. The entire surface should be vacuumed thoroughly to extract any dirt and residue that could prevent the new Prochem Browning Prescription 5L from reaching the stain.
- Always mix in warm water to increase the product effectiveness. Pre-spray the entire surface with a fine coat of the diluted product and allow it to react with the carpet or the fiber for at least 5-10 minutes.
- Scrub the entire surface with a carpet cleaning bonnet or a soft carpet cleaning brush and then wash the carpet or the fibre with the usual detergent.
