The range of pads starts from a very aggressive one that is suitable for grinding and removing old sealers and it goes up to 12k grit that is usually used to create incredible gloss on surfaces that are very hard to polish. Safe to use on all types of marble floors, terrazzo floors, limestone floors, travertine floors, polished concrete, etc. These pads are also suitable for full worktop restoration and scratch removing operations. It can be used in conjunction with a low speed hand polisher for edging and worktops as well. A single pad will last for many projects.
Diafil Abralux WHT 10 DIAM 100 MM I How To Use It
Assess the condition of the surface and decide what is the most suitable grit to start with. If you are trying to remove bad scratches, old sealers or rough patches, you should start with 400-800 grit pad. If you are just trying to start the polishing process and maintain whatever you already have, start from 800-1800 grit. If you are looking to maintain a highly polished finish, use the 3500 grit pads and the results will be just incredible.
Attach 3-5 pads per 17 inch pad holder and add some water. Use a low speed floor buffer to avoid damaging the pads. Do not buff on dry even when you plan to just maintain the pre-existing finish. Buff a section of about 2 sq meters, remove the waste and then move along. Each section will require 3-5 buffing operations to provide the desired results. Move slowly and try to spend the same amount of time on all areas.
