Diafil Hand Lux Pads / Diamond Polishing Pads – Where to use
The new Diafil Hand Lux Pads / Diamond Polishing Pads are the perfect pads for heavy duty maintenance and light polishing of all types of natural stone surfaces and surfaces that can be polished with diamond pads. The pads are light, durable and suitable for the commercial and domestic market. Of course, these diamond pads were not designed to replace the classic way of cleaning & maintaining natural stones, but can be great for manual re-polishing of dull areas, repairing small imperfections, removing scratches from worktops and walls, etc. Starting from 1 to 6, from very rough to very fine, you can use these amazing diamond pads to sort out small issues fast. Safe to use on all marble surfaces, travertine, limestones, quartz, concrete conglomerates, all types of vertical surfaces, etc.
Pad 1: very rough – removal of glues, mortar residue & very rough surfacers
Pad 2: medium rough – levelling off rough surfaces and scratches on surfaces
Pad 3 : rough – heavy duty cleaning and impregnated dirt removal
Pad 4 : medium fine – daily cleaning and scrubbing of polished marble
Pad 5 : fine – gloss restoring and polishing
Pad 6 : very fine – maintenance and polishing
Diafil Hand Lux Pads / Diamond Polishing Pads – How to use
Remember, you need to assess the project requirements and select the most appropriate pad. Do not use a very rough diamond pad for polishing or a very fine pad for heavy duty scrubbing. Wet the surface well, with warm water if possible and start scrubbing the area in circular motions. You will notice results pretty fast. From the friction created between the diamond pad and the surface a white residue will be generated. Remove it and assess the surface. If the imperfection is still there, go one more time. Always work on wet surfaces and do not scrub more than you have to. From time to time check the progress by assessing the area and if it looks good, stop there. These pads are basically fine sanding the marble worktop or whatever surface you are scrubbing. You will remove a bit from the top of the marble and with it, the scratch as well.
An easy way of scrubbing and maintaining natural stone surfaces or any type of surface that can be enhanced with a diamond pad.
