Ettore ProGrip T-Bar I Why Use It
Budgets are tight. In these uncertain times, one cannot afford to go with tools that keep needing to be replaced. Thinning wallets and increasing operational costs emphasise the need for relying on quality products, which can assure you of consistent and extended performance, where you won’t have to keep dashing the store to replace the recently purchased items.
This is across the entire cleaning industry, including when it comes to working on the windows. These are frequent tasks, and you want equipment that can withstand the demand. Tools that you can rely on deliver a quality clean, and reduce the strain on your budget. Ettore has got you covered with a wide range of cleaning supplies for the different window cleaning tasks, from the washing and scraping, to the squeegeeing.
With specifically the washing, focus narrows down to the quality of the sleeve material, and the T-bar that it is being used with. The Ettore ProGrip T-Bar under review is one of the popular units from the brand. Here is a look at what makes it highly sought after:
-
Built to last
The Ettore ProGrip T-Bar has been constructed with high impact plastic that takes on the load of the frequent window cleaning sessions, delivering optimal performance all through. From homeowners keen to get their hands on durable sets of equipment, to window cleaning contractors whose main focus is reducing their operational costs to protect their profit margins, including the Ettore ProGrip T-Bar into your window cleaning arsenal comes in handy.
The durable build of this product will enable you to get prolonged usage out of every unit purchased, giving you value for the amount spent on it. Speaking of costs, the Ettore ProGrip T-Bar comes at a pocket-friendly price, further enabling you to make savings. You can acquire it in different sizes, from 10″ to 18″ units, depending on your particular cleaning needs.
-
Ergonomic design
Your comfort when cleaning the windows is also key. After all, you don’t want to get unnecessary fatigue, especially when you have multiple windows to cover. Things are prevented from going down this route by the ergonomic nature of the Ettore ProGrip T-Bar, plus the rubberised grip that further enhances your comfort.
What’s more, this design gives you more grip during those wet conditions that are typical of the window cleaning process. That way, you won’t keep having the washer slipping out of your hand. You will have more control over the tool, enhancing the effectiveness of the process.
The cleaning process itself is a breeze. Start by preparing the cleaning solution. For instance, you can add water to a bucket, to the halfway mark, then top up the detergent. Different products come with their different dilution ratios, but generally you’re only required to add just enough of the detergent for the soapy solution to feel slightly slippery. Fix the washer sleeve to your Ettore ProGrip T-Bar, then dip it into the solution.
Ensure that you wring out the excess solution, in order to minimize drips as you move to the window. Wash the glass panes in a circular motion, dislodging the grime that is on the surface. The next stage after the washing will be to squeegee the window. Before doing this, dry out a path around the frame of the window- what is usually called “cutting the edge”. Place the dry blade of the squeegee on this section, and glide it over the glass pane in smooth strokes, overlapping each other. You can hold the washer under the squeegee to catch the falling water, in which case the firm grip of the Ettore ProGrip T-Bar will also be beneficial here.
What of those windows that are out of reach? Don’t fret. Simply attach the Ettore ProGrip T-Bar to any of the extension poles from the brand. It is compatible with a wide range of units, such as the InterPro 2-Section Interlock, which comes in 2′ (60cm) and 4′ (120cm) models. You can also use it with any of the poles from the REA-C-H line, which come with ribbed tubing that gives you enhanced grip, and feature a rigid construction for stability as you work on those windows on the upper floors.
The REA-C-H poles come in different models, the 1-section unit that is 2′ long, the 2-section modes which include 4′, 8′ and 12′ models, to the longer 3-section poles where lengths get to 24′ and 27′, and the 4-section poles that can extend to 32′ (900cm). The wide range of choices enables you to pick a model that will be suitable for your particular needs.
Using the extension poles has the welcome benefit of taking away the risks of dealing with ladders. Working from heights is one of the leading causes of accidents within the window cleaning industry. Balancing while atop the rungs, carrying the bucket with solution and the cleaning tools, reaching out to remove the grime from the corners which puts you in awkward positions- the frequent falls can lead to sprains, broken limbs, concussions, and other injuries depending on the angle of the fall.
This is prevented when you use the Ettore ProGrip T-Bar with extension poles. They allow you to work on those high-rise windows from the safety of the ground. It also has the welcome benefit of speeding up the cleaning process, by cutting down the setup time and allowing you to move from one window to the next much faster.
With regards to your window cleaning budget, the Ettore ProGrip T-Bar enables you to save on costs in multiple ways. Firstly, there is the affordable price of the units. Right from the word go, you get to purchase a quality product without your pocket taking a massive hit. Then there is the durability of the Ettore ProGrip T-Bar, where the reduced need for repairs and replacements enables you to cut back on these expenses that would have cropped up down the road with conventional cleaning products.
Designed for efficiency and comfort, this window cleaning tool provides a secure grip that reduces hand fatigue while improving precision on glass surfaces. The strong plastic construction resists heavy daily use and supports smooth cleaning with compatible sleeves and poles. Ettore ProGrip T-Bar is different from standard handles because it combines durability, comfort and versatility in one affordable product. It helps cleaners work faster, maintain better control and safely clean hard to reach windows with extension poles from ground level
