Where to use
This innovative water based floor lacquer is the commercial option. A product that has to be mixed with the hardener before use and then applied over all kinds of hardwood or semi solid wooden floors that are exposed to intense daily traffic. The epic Junckers HT700 Commercial Floor Lacquer is a polyurethane water based floor lacquer that can be used to seal hardwood floors, furniture, wall and ceiling panels, doors, frames, etc. The product does not yellow over time, it allows the natural ventilation of the wood and it is known to last for many years even when exposed to a lot of use and abuse.
How to use
The lacquer has to be mixed up with the hardener before use. The mixing ratio is 1 to 10. The hardener will cause a chain reaction that will harden the lacquer faster and it will make the entire finish much more durable and harder to scratch. Also, a two pack water based floor lacquer can be applied over oil based wood stains as well. The process of applying the new Junckers HT700 Commercial Floor Lacquer is pretty much straight forward and it does not require amazing levels of skills.
- Just make sure that the wood surface is sanded well and all imperfections removed before applying the new Junckers HT700 Commercial Floor Lacquer.
- Mix up the hardener with the lacquer about 10 minutes before the application. After the initial mixing, you will have about 2-4 hours to use the mixture before it hardens up and becomes rock hard. Only mix what you are likely to use within this time frame.
- Use a small brush to apply the product around the edges and use a large professional varnishing roller to apply the product on the open spaces. Apply enough product to create an even wet look finish but without soaking the wood. Move along with the fibre of the wood.
- Only apply the second coat after the first coat has fully dried. The drying periods can be affected by many factors and it could be anywhere between 1 to 4 hours. A fine sanding with 180 to 220 grit sanding screens can be done between coats.
- All stains and primers have to be fully dry before applying the incredible Junckers HT700 Commercial Floor Lacquer over it. If the base finish is not completely dry, the top coat might dry patchy. 3 coats are necessary for full protection.

All tools should be washed with clean water after the job is completed.
