Faber Marble & Granite Protector | Where To Use
The amazing Faber Marble & Granite Protector is compatible with most natural stone surfaces, granite floors & worktops, travertine floors & walls, limestone floors & walls, medium to high absorbency marble floors, terracotta floors, etc. The perfect sealer for very wet floors, shower rooms, steam rooms, etc. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The product will fully dry within a few hours and it will start providing full protection as it dries. Its main advantage is the fact that it can be topped up overtime if the protection wears off.
Faber Marble & Granite Protector | How To Use It
The surface has to be dry and residue free. Any residue that is visible before sealing, will be trapped under the sealer, so a deep clean of the area is essential. To remove all black spots, body fats, soap residue, impregnated dirt, etc, you should use a strong alkaline cleaner. Allow 2-3 hours to fully dry and then proceed with the sealing. Be sure to wear gloves and also make sure that there is good ventilation. You can use a microfiber cloth or any type of applicator. Bear in mind that this product is invisible so you need to work in small areas and be sure to cover the whole surface. Areas that are missed are likely to get dirty and build up residue. A sealed surface will prevent the surface from absorbing humidity and all kinds of residue. The look of the surface will not be affected at all. The product provides great protection against rising humidity as well. If the surface is not fully dry, the sealer will penetrate and it will dry over time but small discolorations could appear under the sealer. One coat should be more than enough but more coats can be applied over time. The product is listed as “food safe” so it can be used for sealing worktops. To be maintained with medium PH natural stone cleaner.
