Up to now most people that were looking for a great quality Bona lacquer for intense traffic areas, were likely to go for the world famous Bona Traffic HD. By using a two pack floor lacquer that comes with a hardener, you were guaranteed a highly durable and natural looking finish. But when dealing with two pack floor lacquers there are disadvantages, like the product hardening within a few hours, the fact that it contains a solvent hardener & the price as well. The new Bona Traffic Go was designed to tick all the boxes ticked by the two pack floor lacquers but without all the disadvantages. It can be used for a very long period of time even after it was opened, it has outstanding durability, it maintains the natural look of the wood and is 100% eco-friendly.

This is a professional single pack commercial water based floor lacquer compatible with all hardwood and semi solid wood floors. It can be used to seal and protect all types of residential wood floors, pub floors,restaurant floors, sport rooms, offices, public buildings, etc. It can also be used to seal and protect wood furniture, wood doors, wood frames, real wood skirting boards, handles, wood profiles, etc. The new Bona Traffic Go | 2K Technology | High Traffic Floor Lacquer | was made for indoor use only. It can be applied over all types of waterborne and solvent based floor primers or directly on the wood without a primer.

Bona Traffic Go | 2K Technology | High Traffic Floor Lacquer | How To Use It

Surface preparation is a must. The wood has to be old sealer free, dust free, dry & sanded. Any old sealer or stain has to be removed by sanding the surface with a professional floor sanding machine. The lacquer can be applied after the wood is finished with 100 grit sandpaper.

1. If you are planning to apply a primer, do so now and allow it to dry for 1-3 hours (depending on the ventilation & the type of wood).

2. Re-sand the whole surface one more time with 150 to 180 grit sanding screens or sanding discs. Vacuum well.

3. Pour the floor lacquer into a varnishing bucket or a varnishing tray. Use a small varnishing brush to seal all the edges and all the hard to reach areas. Use a large varnishing brush to apply the lacquer on the larger and open spaces. 

4. Apply enough product to create a wet look but do not soak the surface. Allow it to dry for up to 2 hours and you can prepare for the final coat. You can re-sand the floor one more time with 220 grit sanding screens but it is not necessary. 

5. Apply the final coat of Bona Traffic Go | 2K Technology | High Traffic Floor Lacquer and do not walk on the surface until fully dry. It requires 24 hours to fully cure. 

Bona Traffic Go | 2K Technology | High Traffic Floor Lacquer | Recommendation

This is a single pack floor lacquer suitable for high traffic commercial floors. It is not compatible with an oil based wood stain. Do not attempt to mix it up with any hardener and do not dilute the product. Do not mix it up with any other floor lacquer and remember to only apply it to dry & spotless surfaces. 1 primer and 2 coats of floor lacquer is more than enough or you can use 3 coats of floor lacquer without a primer. The product is fume free and very safe but we still recommend users to work in well ventilated areas to speed up the drying process. This product can be used to seal residential and commercial hardwood floors.
