Faber Deep Enhancer 1L Review
Surface care is essential for building maintenance, addressing floors, walls, countertops, stairways, and both indoor and outdoor areas. Various threats like dirt, rising damp, rust, moisture, and UV radiation can damage installations. Faber offers a wide range of solutions suitable for builders, architects, homeowners, and business owners, as well as products for tilers, cleaning companies, and DIY enthusiasts that are quick and effective.
The products developed address specific areas, ranging from stain removers for those stubborn spots, mastics plus epoxy systems for carrying out repairs, cleaning products to preserve the beauty and character of the various surface types, to finishing agents and waxes. With over 30 years of operations and expertise, and an international market that is constantly growing, you can rest assured that you’ll be getting a value return for your money’s worth by relying on Faber products.
When it comes to dealing with the compact surfaces, turn to the Faber Deep Enhancer 5L. Here, its aim is to provide an effective treatment to enable these surfaces to withstand the barrage of abuse they receive on a daily basis, from both natural elements like the sun and human causes like the occasional food and drink spills, while also adding to the beauty of the installation.
Benefits Of The Faber Deep Enhancer 1L
-
Protects the surfaces
The solvent-based Faber Deep Enhancer 1L brings stain protection and water-repellency properties to the material, and simultaneously amps up the durability. The treatment provided protects the surface from the effects of UV radiation, and you won’t have to worry about yellowing on exposure to sunlight. This formulation can be used on both indoor and outdoor surfaces, even those in conditions that necessitate the need to withstand the continuous presence of water- like the shower and washbasin in the house, saunas in hotels, or fountains in the park. This reduces your workload when it comes to the daily cleaning and maintenance of the surfaces.
-
Enhances the appeal of the material
The Faber Deep Enhancer 5L penetrates and bonds with the surface, and enhances its tone. That way, it doesn’t form a film on the surface. This emboldens the colour of the material, additionally providing a matt finish, boosting its aesthetic appeal.
-
Applicable on compact surfaces
This formulation has been specifically designed to work on compact surfaces, which typically have minimal absorption. It impregnates the material, allowing you to stain-proof it and effectively treat it. These are the likes of glazed and craquelé ceramics, lapped, textured and polished porcelain stoneware, quartz-resin agglomerates, molten basalt, and natural polished stones. It can also be used on granite, clinker, limestone, marble, marble-resin agglomerates and travertine. Whether the surface is brushed, polished, aged or has a compact superficial finish, the Faber Deep Enhancer 1L will be up to the task.
-
Quick application
Treat your natural stone surfaces easily with Faber Deep Enhancer 5L by first cleaning the area and protecting adjacent surfaces. Apply generously on dry surfaces, spread evenly, and wait 5-10 minutes before redistributing excess for uniform coverage. Use a brush, roller, or lambswool applicator, allowing 20-30 minutes for penetration, or 45-60 minutes for compact materials; maximizing dwell time close to an hour enhances effectiveness, color intensity, and durability.
After application, remove excess material by brushing the surface with a dry brush and using a standard floor polisher at 175 rpm with a lambswool pad. For vertical surfaces and smaller areas, use wool-cotton or compact-felt cloths, or an orbital wheel with a white pad. The Faber Deep Enhancer will dry in 1-2 hours, and floors can withstand foot traffic in 4-6 hours.
When using it as a stain-proofing treatment for the surfaces onto which a water-repellent primer had been coated, first wait for it to dry before applying the Deep Enhancer. New installations, plus those that have grout, should also be allowed to cure completely before application of the treatment.
-
Easy to maintain
Cleaning surfaces treated with the Faber Deep Enhancer 1L is a breeze. In fact, there are complementary products from the same brand that are compatible with it, from ALGAFLOOR for the routine cleaning, to those formulated to tackle stubborn dirt like Faber 30 and DETERFUG, which are used depending on the type of dirt you’re dealing with. Regular maintenance keeps the treatment at its optimal, from the colour tone that has been set up, to preserving the durability that has been obtained.
-
Pocket-friendly
The Faber Deep Enhancer 5L is suitably priced to give you a quality product without denting your wallet. You can get it in packages of 4 cans per box, which is especially beneficial when you’re working on expansive surface areas. Each unit product itself enables you to treat a wide area, with a coverage rate of 20-30m²/L. What’s more, the protection that is provided for the surface preserves its structural integrity and enhances its durability, enabling it to avoid the effects of wear that would have otherwise resulted in deterioration- which would be costly to repair. This has the welcome benefit of reducing your building maintenance costs over the long term.
Engineered for demanding environments, this treatment offers superior protection and visual enhancement in one application. It works effectively on low absorbent materials, ensuring deep penetration and consistent performance across a wide range of surfaces. Resistant to UV exposure and harsh conditions, it maintains colour integrity without yellowing over time. At the core of advanced surface protection, the Faber Deep Enhancer 1L stands apart by combining deep impregnation with a natural matt effect, delivering a refined appearance and long term protection that standard surface coatings cannot achieve.
Transform and protect surfaces with a high performance solution designed for long lasting results. This advanced formula penetrates deep into materials, enhancing natural colour while delivering powerful stain resistance and water repellency. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, it protects against wear, moisture and daily exposure without altering the surface texture. Positioned at the centre of professional surface care, the Faber Deep Enhancer 1L provides a natural finish without creating a film, making it ideal for preserving the authentic look of stone and ceramic surfaces while improving durability and ease of maintenance.
